The fiber ball filter material is a spherical filter material formed by ligation of polyester and polypropylene filaments. It has the advantages of good elasticity, no floating on the water, large gaps, and long working cycle. During the filtration process, the gap of the filter layer gradually changes along the direction of the water flow. Small, more in line with the ideal filter material from the upper to the lower porosity distribution, so as to form a fast filtering speed, large sewage capacity, good filtering effect, can be used repeatedly on the top, no need to replace all, saving time and effort, etc., general rate 30m/h, coarse filtration 100mg/L influent water, effluent water ≤5mg/L, fine filtration and purified water 20m/h, effluent water ≤2mg/L. Widely used in high-standard water and wastewater in oilfield, chemical, electric power, metallurgy and other industries recycle and re-use.

There are two types of fiber filter balls. One is ordinary fiber filter balls, and the other is modified fiber filter balls. The feature of ordinary fiber filter balls are: light weight, high strength, long service life, large specific surface area, and good filtering effect. In addition to the feature of ordinary fiber filter balls, modified fiber filter balls have oleophobic properties, which are suitable for filtering oil fields and oily sewage.

1. Can I use Filter balls in my existing filter?

    Yes, Filter Balls are made for use in all types of filter, including sand filter, glass filter, catridge filter, aquarium filter, etc. 

2. How many Filter balls should I use?

    700g filter balls could replace 25kg of sand. So if you use 3bags of 25kg sand, you will need same 3bags of 700g filter balls.

3. Do I really save money with Filter Balls?

     Absolutely! Sand and other filter media are more expensive particularly  when you consider shipping, handling and transportation costs. It take energy to overcome pressurizing a vessel, because Filter Balls increases your water flow with reduced pressure, your pumps are working less.  In fact, your pumps do not need to run nearly as long to move the total volume of water in your pool through the filter system. So with less power consumed, you save money on your monthly electricity bill and you should find your pumps lasting longer with less maintenance.
